RIDE READY
UI/UX DESIGN
Overview
This is an informative site for everyone starting in cycling. My goal was to design it with a clear purpose: to provide accurate information to users through a visually appealing and clean design, with a focus on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles. This includes intuitive navigation, responsive layouts, and engaging visuals, all paired with concise and readable text to ensure users can easily find and understand the information they need.

RESEARCH
Problem
While searching, I found that there are not many basic informative websites that gather crucial information for those who want to start cycling. Most available resources are overwhelmed with marketing content from brands, news in cycling, some kind of different articles, making it hard to find the right information without bias. Additionally, many sites have such a broad range of content that users can easily become confused and lose time sifting through a pool of articles.
Solution
To address these issues, I propose creating a dedicated website that focuses on providing clear, unbiased information for users or future cyclists of all levels. Aiming for simple and careful selected information, in simple and organized manner from entering website form chosen devices through UI and the ability to direct future users of the website who express some interest through connection button ("find dealer"), without unnecessary marketing elements that would directly influence their usage or navigation through the site. The main goal is to provide users with accurate and direct content without superfluous parts.
PROBLEM DEFINITION
User Flow
The site is designed to be exceptionally user-friendly, ensuring that every new visitor can easily find the desired information. Upon arrival, users are welcomed by the home page featuring a striking image and the site logo. For seamless navigation, a hamburger menu is positioned in the upper left corner, utilizing a sticky header for convenience, while the right side offers options for new users to sign up or log in.
Most information is readily accessible directly from the home page. The images are large and clearly composed, enhancing visibility and ensuring a pleasant browsing experience. Importantly, there are no intrusive ads to disrupt the user interface or extend search times.
Each section typically includes a button that links to a page with more detailed information, allowing users to dive deeper into specific topics. These pages also provide opportunities to explore and purchase related products, making it easy for users to find what they need and make informed choices.
User Stories
As a new cyclist, I want to have access to reliable information about different types of cycling, traveling by bike, gear and equipment, maintenance, safety tips, and the environmental impact of cycling, so that I can enhance my cycling experience and contribute to environmental preservation.
As a new user, I want an intuitive interface that is easy to navigate.
As a new user, I want to be able to buy some staff from the website.
As a frequent user, I want to be able to share what I've learned.
